On 24th October 2007 the Government of the Republic of Lithuania by Resolution No.1130 has approved the rules for the Register of Donors and Recipients of Human Tissues and Organs.
Founder of the register – Government of the Republic of Lithuania.
Purpose of the register – provide a database for collecting, storing, processing, organizing, maintaining and providing to users (private persons and legal entities) all relevant data, perform other necessary operations with the collected data.
Managing institution of the register – Ministry of Health of the Republic of Lithuania.
Operating institution and manager of personal data recorded in the register – National Transplant Bureau.
